Do what you love. Love what you do

Benjamin coded his first website by the age of 13. Since then he got more and more involved into internet business and “nerdy stuff” learning advanced web development technologies (PHP, JavaScript, Java) and freelancing in webdesign and development since the age of 17. During his studies of business engineering at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) he taught programming and test-driven development, worked at IBM and Siemens and participated in a software project of the European Union (COCKPIT).

In 2011 he joined the small student entrepreneurship society PionierGarage as chairman and raised it to the biggest student club in the whole of Germany within 10 months. He managed to fly 23 students from Germany, Austria and Switzerland to Silicon Valley (Video Blog) meeting inspiring entrepreneurs and even Peter Thiel face to face.
As Co-founder and CMO of SwipeCat, a mobile shopping application for the iPad, he dived into mobile development (iOS) and App Store Marketing.

As the second employee hired, Benjamin right now supports Kiveda as Head of SEO and several smaller positions. In October 2013 he will run the German StartupBus driving in 4 days from Berlin to the Vienna.

Benjamin is an ambitious photographer, loves travelling and mountaineering. With a small group of friends he founded the non-profit mountaineering club Powder Party Bergsport e.V. supporting young people to experience the mountains by mentoring them in events from beginner hikes to advanced glacier tours. By now the club counts more than 160 active members.
